PHASE 2 DAY 13

4 July 2023

Tuesday

After enjoying two days of holidays, the week began with renewed energy and a list of targets to be accomplished. With the upcoming unit test examinations in mind, I was determined to make the most of the day at St. Mary's High School.

In the fourth hour, I took the initiative to serve food during the mid-day meal program. This allowed me to contribute to the welfare of the students beyond the classroom. It was a humbling experience to be a part of such an important activity that ensures the well-being and nourishment of the students.

The day concluded with my responsibility of evening line duty at gate 13, boys session. Fulfilling this duty not only ensures the safety of the students but also provides an opportunity for interaction outside the classroom, further strengthening the bond within the school community.Reflecting on the 13th day of my internship at St. Mary's, I am pleased with the productive use of time and the accomplishments achieved despite the absence of scheduled activities in the Tuesday timetable. It was a day of preparation, progress, and making a difference beyond the conventional teaching duties. The experience reaffirmed the importance of proactive planning, effective time management, and going the extra mile to contribute to the overall well-being of the students. As the unit test examinations approach, I feel confident in the progress made by the students and the efforts put forth to ensure their success.

With each passing day, I am grateful for the invaluable learning experiences and the growth I am experiencing as an educator. The 13th day at St. Mary's has further fueled my passion for teaching and reinforced my commitment to providing quality education to the students. I eagerly anticipate the upcoming days, embracing the challenges and opportunities they hold.

 Signing Off,

Greeshma Gireesan
